Sitting close to the Sandstone Trail, a scenic walking route in Cheshire, The Bickerton Poacher is a charming pub-restaurant offering comfortable, stylish accommodation and a large family and dog-friendly campsite with both grass and hard-standing pitches, shower blocks and a children's play-area.

Our beautiful rooms are equipped with modern amenities such as tea and coffee making facilities, free toiletries, T.V and Wi-Fi and include our hearty and popular Full English Breakfast with extensive alternatives also available.

If you are staying with us and need to travel to an event or occasion there is a taxi service 10 minutes from us, advance booking is required.

'Hare Bedroom'

The 'Hare' is a spacious individually styled ensuite double room with bath and overhead shower situated above the pub.

Featuring a convertible sleeping arrangement, it can be set up as a double or two singles, ideal for friends or family travelling together. Simply let us know your preference when booking.

'Duck Bedroom'

The 'Duck' is a beautiful, uniquely designed, spacious ensuite double room situated above the pub. It has an optional adjoining room with a bunk bed for family stays.

After a day exploring Cheshire you can unwind in it's fabulous expansive bath providing a luxurious experience to your stay. It is a popular choice for Valentines day or romantic occasions and has a very peaceful and luxurious feel.

'Horse Bedroom'

'Horse' is another of our double rooms situated in the grounds of our wonderfully spacious beer-garden. It is easily accessible for those with disabilities sitting right next to our disabled ramp entrance.

While our accessible room does not feature a bath, it includes an easy access shower and all the thoughtful touches needed for a comfortable stay.

It is also a popular choice among dog owners who appreciate the convenience of being to step straight outside with their four-legged companions.

'Robin Bedroom'

'Robin' is a wonderfully spacious and comfortable double ensuite room with an expansive bath and overhead shower. Situated above the pub it is a popular choice with guests with it's quiet aspect and light and airy feel.

'Robin' is also located right next to a pretty terrace area exclusively for the use of our guests which overlooks the beer garden. It is the perfect place to sit and relax in the warm summer evenings.

'Pheasant Bedroom'

''Pheasant' is our beautiful and very spacious family room, situated above the pub in a quiet position. On the ground floor is a double room featuring a luxurious king size bed. A flight of stairs leads to a children's room with bunk beds and a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. Each of our rooms are individually decorated and designed creating a very homely and warm feel.

'Badger Bedroom'

'Badger' is a comfortable and quiet cosy double ensuite room with shower situated above the pub. As with all our rooms it is individually designed and is right next to our terrace area which is for the use of our B&B guests.

'Deer Bedroom'

'Deer' is our light and comfortable ensuite twin room featuring two single beds, making it a perfect choice for friends, walkers or travellers exploring the local countryside. The room also includes a private shower and toilet, providing everything needed for a relaxing stay.

'Stag Chalet'

The Stag Chalet provides warm and spacious self-contained accomodation tucked away at the bottom of our campsite.

This charming home-from-home features a generously sized double bedroom, a cosy children's bedroom with junior-sized bunk bed and a large lounge flowing into a dining space which in turn opens into a well-equipped kitchen. The open plan design creates a sociable living space allowing for easy conversation and a warm sense of togetherness throughout.

A shower room with toilet and a second WC ensures comfort and convenience for all guests.
