The Campsite

The Bickerton Poacher campsite is all about family-friendly fun and comfort.

You will find a welcoming mix of facilities including a fenced children's playground, a variety of eat-in and takeaway dining options and free Wi-Fi available in the pub and campsite area.

We are perfectly placed to enjoy the popular walks the Sandstone Trail has to offer, the stunning scenery gifted to us by the Bickerton Hills and the many attractions on our doorstep in Chester. It's no wonder we're such a popular campsite with return visitors every season.

Dog-lovers will delight in the extensive local dog walks. Clean and friendly dogs are also welcome in the pub where they can enjoy the warmth of the fire and snacks from our doggie menu!

Camping Facilities

We have a combination of grass and hard-standing pitches with electric hook-up and for those with solar power, we have plenty of standard pitches too. Separate toilet and hot shower blocks are available and a pot-wash area.

Our site is tucked back from the road ensuring a peaceful stay with all the amenities that you need. Our traditional skittle alley is available to hire and our games/T.V room with pool table and dart board provides further fun.

The Poacher's Pocket

The Poacher's Pocket Farm Shop offers fresh local produce and all the essentials. With jams and chutneys, cakes and pastries, there is something for everyone. A selection of sweets and ice-creams are also available, providing a lovely addition to your family camping experience with us.

We also sell some basic camping equipment so that you can enjoy the experience of camping under the stars here at the Bickerton Poacher Campsite.
