Take Away & Community Shop
Supporting Our Community During The Covid-19 Crisis
These are extraordinary times, and it can feel like each morning that you wake, you turn the news on to see which way the wind has changed. We want to remain a consistent and reliable resource for our community with both our takeaway service and our community shop.
How we’re responding to COVID-19 (coronavirus)
We are limiting the number of people who come into the community shop and takeaway at any one time. This includes putting queuing systems in place. We ask customers to keep at a safe distance of 2 metres apart
We would prefer customers to pay by card. We understand that this may not be possible for everyone; however, if you can, then it helps reduce the risk of spreading the virus through avoidable use of cash. This helps protect you, our other customers and our colleagues.
Communities working together:
We know many people are shopping for others who can’t access food online or get to our shop. We support and encourage this, and it will go a long way towards getting food to everyone who needs it
Our opening hours are Monday to Sunday, from 8 am to 9 pm.
Where we deliver to
Deliveries are available locally. We will try to accommodate as many of you as we can, but the farther we go out, the fewer customers that we can deliver to in a timely fashion, particularly for hot food deliveries.
In order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our customers and colleagues, we are taking a number of steps to ensure that we are able to deliver to you as safely as possible. This allows us to continue deliveries to self-isolating customers.
We will call you on the number you have provided, before delivery to discuss a safe place to leave your order, that allows us to observe safe physical distancing. We believe this will better safeguard your welfare and that of our colleagues.
Drivers will use alcohol-based hand sanitiser regularly throughout their deliveries.
When collecting your order, please make yourself known to one of our colleagues, while observing as best you can, safe physical distancing. If you are vulnerable and would like us to bring the items to the boot of your car so that you do not have to leave your vehicle, then please ring us when you arrive in the car park, and we will bring your items out to you. You can show us your proof of purchase through the closed window of your vehicle.
Supplying all your essentials.
Whether it's farm fresh free range eggs, milk, cheese or the bread we bake daily on the premises, we have all the essentials you need - and some delicious non essentials, too.
